Amadeus Enables Agents To Compare Air & Rail Routes

Amadeus has partnered with content aggregator AccesRail to enable travel agents to compare air bookings against bookings for 18 rail and bus operators across 26 countries. Now, the global distribution system can provide content from such suppliers as German rail service Deutsche Bahn, Great Western Railway, Spanish rail network Renfe and U.K. bus service National Express on the same screen as air options. That allows agents to compare combinations of both air and ground options for a city pair on a single display.
