2025 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $56M

BTN estimates that mass media and entertainment group Warner Bros. Discovery spent $56 million on U.S.-booked air travel in 2025. The company reported 70,600 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions from business travel that year, down from 78,800 metric tons in 2024.
Warner Bros. Discovery's 2025 revenue fell 5 percent year over year to $37.3 billion. The company had 35,500 employees at the end of 2025, about half of whom were based outside the United States.
Netflix in late 2025 agreed to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery's studios and streaming assets but withdrew in February 2026 after Warner Bros. Discovery accepted a higher, $110 billion acquisition offer from Paramount Skydance Corp. The agreement also halted Warner Bros. Discovery's previously announced plan to split into two publicly traded companies.
The U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division cleared the proposed acquisition in June 2026. The transaction nevertheless faces legal challenges, including a lawsuit from a coalition of U.S. states seeking to block it on competition grounds.
