U.S.-booked air volume for the U.S. operations of professional services and Big Four accounting firm KPMG grew 11 percent year over year in 2025 to $118.8 million.
The firm last year continued to prioritize greener travel choices alongside program growth, setting more specific targets to track progress toward KPMG's goal to reduce carbon emissions 50 percent by 2030 against a 2019 baseline. The firm has so far reduced 30 percent of its carbon emissions against a 2019 baseline, according to its 2026 Impact Plan.
KPMG does not maintain a single global travel policy and instead uses customized policies by country. No major changes were made to KPMG’s U.S. travel policy in fiscal year 2025, though the firm continued to focus on cost control and demand management.
The U.S. firm reported 87 percent of its 2025 U.S.-booked airline tickets were booked through preferred online tools, with 93 percent of tickets requiring no agent assistance.
KPMG's global revenue for its 2025 fiscal year, which ended September 30, 2025, increased 5 percent year over year in U.S. dollar terms to $39.8 billion. Total global headcount at KPMG's member firms was about 276,000 in 2025, including more than 36,000 employees and partners in the United States.
