BTN estimates that London-based Barclays Bank spent $80 million in U.S.-originating air travel in 2025. The financial firm in 2025 worked to streamline the user experience across the company’s travel management platform, including travel approval workflows. Though new tools were put in place in 2024 with the move to the new Concur Travel platform, Barclays did not change travel policies in 2025.
Barclays’ pre-tax profit reached £9.1 billion for fiscal year 2025, on total earnings of £29.1 billion. The firm employed more than 93,000 people globally in 2025, according to Forbes, a rise of 2,000 over the previous year.
