BTN estimates that defense and aerospace company BAE Systems Inc., the U.S. division of its U.K.-based parent BAE Systems, increased year over year.
The company's travel spending in 2025 includes for the first time the full effect of volume from the former Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., which BAE in 2024 acquired for about $5.6 billion in cash. Its 5,000 employees were integrated into BAE Systems Inc.'s travel program in September. Initially known after the deal's completion as BAE Space & Mission Systems, the former Ball in 2026 became known as the company's Aerospace & Mission Systems segment.
Parent company BAE Systems' 2025 total sales increased 8 percent year over year to £28.3 billion, of which BAE Systems Inc. contributed 43 percent. BAE Systems Inc. at the end of 2025 had about 35,900 employees, down from about 36,200 one year prior.
BAE Systems Inc. in 2024 undertook a full reimplementation of Concur Travel and Expense.
