2024 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $35 million

Contract research firm IQVIA Holdings spent $35 million on U.S.-booked air travel in 2024, making its debut on BTN’s Corporate Travel 100 list.
The company, which provides clinical research services and intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries, recorded $15.4 billion in sales for 2024, a 2.8 percent increase on the previous year.
IQVIA’s business travel in 2023 accounted for about 79,800 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. Business travel emissions per full-time employee have decreased by 12 percent compared with the company’s base year of 2019, and it aims to achieve a 55 percent reduction in business travel emissions per employee by 2030.
IQVIA in 2024 had approximately 88,000 employees in more than 100 countries, including some 49,000 R&D staff and 6,000 contract sales and medical solutions personnel.
