Edwards Lifesciences’ 2024 U.S-booked air travel spend increased to $35 million in 2024, according to a BTN estimate.
Global revenue last year increased 9 percent to $5.4 billion. Its workforce as of Dec. 31, 2024, numbered 15,800, down around 20 percent compared with 2023 following the sale of its Critical Care products unit to Becton, Dickinson and Co., and the transition across of some 4,500 employees.
Plans announced in July 2024 to acquire JenaValve Technology have been delayed by a U.S. Federal Trade Commission lawsuit filed in August 2025.
Carbon emissions associated with its business travel activity accounted for around 10 percent of its overall Scope 3 emissions in 2023, but the company is yet to report on its 2024 activity.
