Biotechnology and life sciences conglomerate Danaher's 2024 U.S.-booked air spending held roughly steady from 2023 levels, according to a BTN estimate.
Danaher in recent years has worked to centralize its travel program, wrapping in operations from more than 15 operating units in dozens of companies into a centralized global program, increasing preferred supplier adoption.
The company does not yet report its Scope 3 carbon emissions, including those generated by business travel, but in 2025 for the first time completed an inventory of such emissions.
Danaher's 2024 total sales held steady year over year at about $23.9 billion, and the number of employees it had at the end of 2024 also held steady from one year prior at about 63,000.
