2020 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $95 million
Apple Inc.’s 2020 U.S.-booked air volume dwindled to $95
million from just under $300 million in 2019, according to a BTN estimate.
During its 2020 fiscal year, which ended in September 2020,
Apple’s corporate travel activity generated about 153,000 metric tons of carbon
dioxide equivalent, down from about 326,000 the year prior.
Apple had about 147,000 employees at the end of September
2020, up from 137,000 a year earlier. The computing and electronics giant raked
in $274.5 billion in global revenue in its 2020 fiscal year, up from $260.2
billion in FY 2019.
