The company completed several acquisitions in 2017, including Keller Medical, Zeltiq Aesthetics and LifeCell. At year-end 2017, Allergan employed about 17,800 people, up from 16,700 one year prior. Allergan also uses Maritz Travel Co. for some meeting planning services in the U.S.
