United Airlines and Qatar Airways plan to share codes

on certain transatlantic flights operated by United, as well as flights between Washington and 50 U.S. cities, and on Qatar's service to Doha, Sri Lanka, Kuala Lumpur and other destinations. Qatar Airways this week operated its first flight between Doha and Newark, via Geneva, and will initiate service between Doha and Washington on 19 July.
