, according to Bestfares.com, which cited "lack of demand for travel to Europe." The fuel surcharges have been lowered between most U.S. cities and such European destinations as Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Rome and Zurich. "The only cities we have not seen a drop in fuel surcharges to London are from select East Coast cities, such as Boston, New York City or Washington, where the fuel surcharge still remains at $302 roundtrip," said Bestfares.com CEO Tom Parsons. Fuel surcharges on transatlantic routes to and from German cities also remain unchanged from last month's $210 average.
