Total U.S. travel agency air sales processed through ARC in February 2012 decreased 0.4 percent year over year, the first such drop since October 2009,

while total transactions dropped 4.5 percent from a year earlier. Both figures represent reversals from growth measured in January. Year-to-date, sales are up 10.7 percent year over year and passenger segments have grown marginally, according to ARC.
