New ownership intends to relaunch registered traveler program Clear this fall at select airpoirts

. Alclear LLC said it acquired assets from bankrupt Verified Identity Pass, which in 2009 shut down the Clear programand left in doubt the future of domestic registered traveler programs. "Enrollment for new customers is expected to begin in the summer 2010 and the subscription terms of nearly 160,000 previous members will be honored," according to the company.
