British Airways said that on April 21 it would raise fuel surcharges
on transatlantic tickets issued in North America to $130 roundtrip, and will consider similar adjustments on long-haul tickets issued elsewhere. BA joins several other international airlines this month in passing higher jet fuel costs to passengers.
