British Airways said that on 21 April it would raise fuel surcharges

for long-haul flights. Surcharges on transatlantic tickets issued in North America will increase to $130 roundtrip while surcharges on all long-haul tickets issued in the United Kingdom will increase to £70 roundtrip. BA joins several other international airlines this month in passing higher jet fuel costs to passengers.
