British Airways debuted a new business class cabin
with wider lie-flat seats and other enhancements. As part of an 18-month, £ 100 million project, the airline is increasing premium-class seating by 8 percent across its long-haul fleet. It also is planning a "major overhaul of the first class cabin." Meanwhile, Air France this month also will introduce a new, reclining business class seat. The airline said one-quarter of its long-haul fleet would be equipped by May 2007.
