Atlantic Southeast Airlines grounded 60 jets "for engine safety inspections
Delta Connection carrier " stemming from "an internal audit," according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. The newspaper quoted an ASA spokeswoman as saying that some of the affected 50-seat Bombardier CRJ200 jets--which account for 40 percent of the regional airline's fleet--could be kept out of operation until Friday.
