All major U.S. network carriers matched a $10 fare hike
initiated last week, according to airfare watcher FareCompare. JPMorgan Securities analyst said the roundtrip price hike represented "the 22nd broad-based increase in the past two years and the first since a similar initiative failed shortly after London's thwarted terror attack."
