All major U.S. carriers reported lower November passenger traffic versus a year earlier
. For the domestic market, steep declines occurred at American Airlines (19 percent), United Airlines (18 percent) and Continental Airlines (15 percent). Delta Air Lines and subsidiary Northwest Airlines both reported a 10 percent reduction in U.S. traffic.
