AMR Corp. reported a first quarter net loss of $382 million
American Airlines parent , compared with a net profit of $81 million in the first quarter of 2007, despite a 5.7 percent increase in total revenue. "There is no playbook for $110 oil," said CFO Tom Horton, referring to current crude oil prices per barrel. AA revised its capacity reduction plan and now expects full-year consolidated capacity to be down 1.5 percent, including a 5 percent cut in fourth-quarter domestic capacity.
