Travelport GDS in the December quarter processed about 1 percent fewer transactions worldwide than during the prior-year period
, with clear regional variances. Transaction volume jumped 8 percent in Asia/Pacific, inched up 2 percent in Europe, slid 3 percent in the Americas and dropped 9 percent in the Middle East and Africa. For full-year 2010, total transaction volume increased 13 percent. Meanwhile, parent company Travelport Limited announced flat fourth-quarter and full-year adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, of $139 million and $629 million, respectively. Fourth-quarter revenue declined marginally to $529 million while full-year revenue rose slightly to $2.3 billion.
