The federal government of the United States for the past four years has been scoring millions of international travelers

based on "the risk they pose of being terrorists or criminals," the Associated Pressreported. Travelers cannot see or challenge the risk assessments, due to be kept on file for four decades. Following the AP report, incoming Senate Judiciary Chairman Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., promised additional oversight of such data-mining projects.
