StarCite was awarded a patent on enterprise event marketing and management automation

that it acquired as part of the 2006 merger with OnVantage. The founders of seeUthere filed the patent application in 2001 for its Web-based registration system, later consolidated into PlanSoft, then rebranded first as OnVantage and then StarCite. The patent was awarded last year but StarCite lawyers have been researching and evaluating the decision, according to the company.
