Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau Inc. named Gary Sain its new president
as it launches a $68 million ad campaign--the second largest bureau ad budget in the country--aimed at families and meeting planners. Sain will replace Bill Peeper, who retired in December after 22 years at the bureau. Sain joined the bureau from research and marketing firm Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown and Russell, where he was chief marketing officer after serving in corporate sales positions for Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Ritz-Carlton, among other roles.
