Mega corporate travel agency air transactions processed through ARC in September rose by 1.7 percent year over year,

the smallest increase since a 4 percent decline measured this past April. Including American Express, BCD Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, HRG and Omega World Travel, the mega agency category for the first time since December 2009 did not outperform every other agency category measured by ARC. In September, the "other" category experienced a 2 percent year-over-year increase in transaction volume. The "online" category for a tenth consecutive month experienced a decline in aggregate volume, down 10.1 percent from a year earlier.
