Emirates reported a record AED 3.4 billion ($925 million) net profit for the first half of its fiscal year ended 30 September
. The airline cited a 19 percent year-over-year jump in passenger traffic and higher premium-class utilization, "reflecting an encouraging change in the global economic outlook."
