Carlson Wagonlit Travel announced that 2012 North America transactions grew 2.3 percent while global transactions fell 0.2 percent, to 61.7 million.

CWT's overall global air, hotel and ground transportation sales volume fell 1.1 percent to $27.7 billion, according to the travel management company. Transactions grew in Latin America by 21 percent, while dropping 4.4 percent in the Europe/Middle East/Africa region and 2.4 percent in Asia/Pacific.
