Balboa Travel Management appointed Stephen Thomas-Schulere to the post of senior vice president of strategic solutions,

responsible for "all areas of operations that impinge on achieving the strategic objectives established with clients and for enhancing Balboa's integrated application of resources to those objectives," according to the company. He reports to executive vice president for strategic initiatives John Cruse. Thomas-Schulere previously served as senior vice president of client relations and operations at Travel Leaders Corporate, which he joined in 2008 when it acquired Stevens Travel Group, where he worked for 20 years, including a stint as president from 2006.
