Australia's Corporate Travel Management created a dedicated division to handle clients from resources sectors

including mining, oil and gas, coal and related areas, which according to CTM account for 30 percent of its business. "These industries are growing, and they need a lot of assistance because their travel needs are so manual," according to CTM managing director Jamie Pherous. The Resource Travel Management division will include such services as shift management, emergency support and "non-commercial requirements such as charter flights."
