Amadeus-connected travel agencies will have access to more rail inventory and pricing following the Amadeus acquisition of "a controlling interest" in rail technology provider Onerail

. Amadeus will offer train operators "a fully integrated inventory, pricing, reservation and distribution system" enabling travel agencies to compare and combine rail services with airline fares and schedules. Amadeus said Onerail systems already are in use by train companies in Australia and the United Kingdom.
