Adtrav Travel Management hired Alex Shreders to "oversee the company's government and corporate divisions,"

according to a statement. Appointed to the newly created vice president of operations position, Shreders continues a 30-year travel industry career that has included posts at a regional Houston-area travel management company which was acquired by TQ3 Navigant and then Carlson Wagonlit Travel. He most recently served as senior director of North America operations for CWT Meetings & Events. Adtrav president and CEO Roger Hale in a statement praised Shreders' "record for successfully implementing major multinational accounts."
