Lufthansa increased first-half net profits by euro 100 million
versus last year to euro 85 million. Passenger revenue increased 14 percent, due in part to higher passenger numbers and yields, as well as the integration of the Eurowings group. Lufthansa said its partially owned Swiss International Air Lines partner also posted a net profit.
