JetBlue Airways is actively pursuing more links to online self-booking tools
as part of a strategy to "widen our net," according to CEO David Neeleman. "We'll be in the majority of those [systems] within the next month or two, which will bring us additional corporate business." Following the announcement of its second consecutive quarterly loss, JetBlue said a new turnaround plan includes reducing capacity on transcontinental routes, deferring aircraft orders, raising fares and adjusting its network by focusing on more short- and medium-haul markets.
