Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $72.2 million

Including significant impairment charges, the full-year 2008 loss was $340 million versus a net profit of $1.2 million in 2007. Dollar Thrifty anticipates further challenges throughout 2009, and a vehicle rental revenue decline of as much as 12 percent year over year.
