Lufthansa Group revenue increased 12.7 percent in 2017 to
35.6 billion euros, pushing its earnings before taxes and interest to a record
2.97 billion euros, an increase of 69.7 percent. The carrier noted "strong
demand and a positive pricing environment" for its network airlines and
lower costs and strong demand for its low-cost carrier, Eurowings. The results
also included a 582 million-euro benefit related to its labor agreement with its
pilots.
