Citi has promoted Gonca Latif-Schmitt to global head of commercial cards. She replaces Manish Kohli, who was promoted to global head of payments and receivables for the bank’s treasury and trade solutions. They both report to Naveed Sultan, Citi’s global head of TTS. Latif-Schmitt, who previously was Citi’s North American head of commercial cards, will drive the travel, purchase and virtual cards business for institutional clients and will manage the division, which issues locally in 60 countries, 45 currencies and 30 languages. Latif-Schmitt has held roles across various departments at Citi—including corporate, financial and the public sector—for 23 years.
