U.S. Bank's global corporate travel card program now accommodates Czech, Danish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish and Swedish currencies.
The company said expansion is meant to "better support multinational customers who are looking to centralize their global card programs." According to a statement from Alan Gibson, U.S. Bank vice president of commercial payments for European and emerging markets, local-currency cards "create cost savings, transparency and efficiency across geographies, as they eliminate foreign transaction fees as well as billing and payment challenges."
