Grasp Technologies expanded a partnership with India-based software company Blue Star Infotech,
the companies announced Tuesday. Blue Star Infotech, part of the Blue Star Group, will refer Grasp travel data management solutions exclusively to its global client base, particularly clients in the Asia/Pacific region, Grasp vice president and chief sales officer Dave Lucas told BTN. Grasp will be able to "bring our solutions and new platforms to market faster" using Blue Star resources around the world, according to Lucas. Blue Star will integrate with some of Grasp's technology—for example, Grasp's Secure Connect solution, which automates data collection from multiple sources—the business intelligence and analytics solutions gained through its acquisition of Activecubes. The companies will examine the potential of jointly building analytics tools for sectors in addition to travel that could result in establishing a separate company, Lucas explained. Grasp could accelerate its total revenue growth by 100 percent by year-end partly due to the partnership, according to Lucas. The companies previously have worked together on deployments.
