Spanish hotel operator and franchiser Sercotel Hotels' hotel management arm will manage properties for Choice hotel owners in international markets, enabling Choice to expand into Spain and grow its hotel development across Europe and Latin America. Choice also may add select Sercotel properties to its global hotel distribution network, allowing guests to book stays at those hotels via Choice's brand.com website and mobile app and to use Choice Privileges loyalty points. Sercotel Hotels' portfolio is comprised of more than 170 midscale and upscale properties in more than 100 markets in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Andorra and Latin America.
