Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide named former Coors Brewing Company chief executive Frits van Paasschen as its new CEO
, effective 24 September. He replaces interim CEO Bruce Duncan, who will continue serving as Starwood's chairman. Starwood in April said then-CEO Steven Heyer resigned after "issues with regard to his management style" caused the board of directors to "lose confidence in his leadership."
