InterContinental Hotels Group posted a 2007 after-tax profit of £155 million
(US$303 million), down 7 percent from 2006. Continuing operating profit jumped 19 percent to £237 million (US$463 million) on 14 percent total gross revenue growth. Average daily rates during the year increased 6 percent in the Americas and 9 percent in other regions.
