Hilton Hotels announced a deal to build and manage 25 new properties in Turkey
. During the next five years, the company plans to open "mainly Hilton Garden Inn" properties. Hilton labeled Turkey as a "key development region" in Europe, along with the Iberian peninsula, Italy, Germany, Poland, Russia and the United Kingdom and Ireland.
