Hilton Hotels Corp. named as president and CEO Christopher Nassetta

, who had been serving as president and CEO of luxury lodging company Host Hotels & Resorts. He replaces former CEO Stephen Bollenbach, who retired last week upon the close of The Blackstone Group's acquisition of Hilton, and Matthew Hart, who had been serving as president and COO and will stay with the company as a director. Blackstone said it would maintain the hotel chain's growth in the domestic U.S. market and "accelerate" growth outside the United States.
