Corporations are achieving lodging rate cuts mid-year, breaking the normal annual negotiations cycle for the first time since 2001
, according to a research note issued today by Morgan Stanley. The firm said "industry sources suggest that corporate rate renegotiations first pushed by the financial industry are trickling into other sectors."
