Accor's hotel revenue during the first half of 2007 increased 8.6 percent to €2.9 billion
(US$3.9 billion), reflecting "the continuing uptrend in the European hospitality industry cycle underway since fourth quarter 2006." The company cited slightly higher occupancy and a 6.9 percent jump in overall average daily rate.
