Payment & Expense
Expense management provider Insperity soon will launch a rechargeable debit card backed by MasterCard,
an Insperity official said. With the Insperity ExensAble Plus MasterCard, companies would issue employees cards with no funds and employees would request funds for trips through a mobile app or web portal. Once a manager approves the trip, funding to purchase such items as lodging, meals and car rental is loaded "within 30 seconds," according to John Tangredi, president of Insperity's Expense Management division. Purchases automatically are integrated into the expense report. Tangredi said about 35 customers have been testing the physical card since the beginning of the year.
