Citigroup said it expanded its commercial card business into Bulgaria, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria and Pakistan,
and now holds issuing
capabilities in 101 countries, of which 64 are in local currencies. Citi also
said it launched an international payment card service in Saudi Arabia and
expanded prepaid card services business into Bahrain, Egypt and Pakistan.
