Travel Leaders Group named
Gabriel Rizzi chief sales officer and head of corporate travel, a new position.
Most recently Dun &
Bradstreet senior vice president of sales, Rizzi reports to Travel Leaders
Group CEO Ninan Chacko and is tasked with leading "a more strategically
matrixed organization incorporating all sales and marketing for Travel Leaders
Group’s various divisions, including Travel Leaders Corporate, which will now roll under his leadership."
Chacko noted in a statement that
Rizzi would support "business division leaders with their individual sales
efforts" and "ensure common systems, methodologies and best practices
across Travel Leaders Group."
In his role, Rizzi will
support Travel Leaders Corporate president David Holyoke on initiatives to
drive new sales and retain clients, Travel Leaders Group noted.
The company has made several recent executive
appointments, including a new vice president of sales for
Travel Leaders Corporate and a leader of the new
Elite Travel Division, which includes the Protravel International and Tzell
Travel Group brands. These appointments follow the appointment of
Chacko as CEO last year, replacing Barry Liben.
