American Express Global Business Travel president and CEO Bill Glenn
stepped down, the travel management company announced. Chairman Greg O'Hara
will assume the role on an interim basis, "while a search for a new
president and CEO is conducted," according to Amex GBT. Glenn will stay on
as a member of the American Express GBT board of directors. "The
transition of management responsibilities will ensure that this continues
without any disruption," according to a company statement. "Over the
next few months, the market will begin to see the impact of GBT’s new IT infrastructure,
a wave of new product developments, and some exciting, soon-to-be announced
acquisitions."
